As we travel we want to take you on our journey of meeting creative interesting people that are sharing their talents and helping to grow the Maker Movement. Follow us on our adventures as we travel and visit MAKERS & creatives and learn awesome things from them.

Queens, NY
This is Peter, he is one of the owners of Windsor AR. The woodworkers of Windsor AR specialize in historical buildings exterior and interiors. Our very own, Sean Morgan spent a week in Queens, installing controls on their new CNC machine, one of their many woodworking machines. Windsor is a team of less than 10 and are known for their high quality work and mama's most awesome pierogi recipes.
Greenbelt, MD
This is Eva, her and her husband George have a great place that is a kid-safe, adult-friendly place where members can meet to engage and enrich their minds. They offer classes, workshops, and makerspace activities in robotics, traditional and digital, 3d printing, upcycling, and wood and metal working. They have regular meetups and clubs for robotics and chess. They have been open for over 5 years, they are non-profit and are hoping to open the space to become a co-op, a community of makers.
Savannah, GA
Mr. Tim Cone and he and his business partner Mr. Ty Donaldson are co-founders of Maven Makers in Savannah, GA. They are most known for their woodworking shop, but also have programming and 3d modeling classes.
They are working to establish a collaborative work-space with the goal of creating a community of knowledge, design, and creativity. They are seeking to create economic development through non-traditional education.
Nashville, TN
This is Mr. Karl one of the many Makers that help run the Make Nashville Maker Space. They are 10,000 sq. ft. of awesome spaces to create in. Their mission is to transform lives by providing the tools, education, and support needed to make amazing things.
We were able to hang out in their lounge where they brainstorm ideas, into the textile room where sewing and creating fabric works of art happen. We also took a stroll down 3D Printers Alley, where there is a plethora of 3d printers.
We visited the SHOP filled with wonderful machines for woodworking, metal working, vinyl printing and pottery. They collaborate with a paper stamping and printmaking shop, which was amazing to explore.
Nashville, TN
This is Mr. Niq and Mr. Chris in the background, two of the many Makers that help run the Nashville Public Library (MAIN) Maker Space. They are surrounded by 3d printers, cardboard creations, upcycled projects and cool equipment.
Studio NPL is an innovative, technology driven learning environment for teens aged 12-18. Daily workshops are mentor led and focus on building 21st century skills in STEM, digital literacy, and career readiness.
Whether you want to be an engineer, filmmaker, graphic artist, musician, or anything else, Studio NPL has resources and the nurturing environment for teens to explore and engage their passions.
Because Nashville is known for music, NPL Makerspace has an array of audio and musical equipment and 3 sound rooms for recording and mixing music.
The city of Nashville is fortunate to have such a wonderful space to offer their community. NPL gives them opportunities to make just about anything.
